Rezerv feature updates: November 2024

This month, we’re introducing the Xendit integration to expand your payment options across Southeast Asia, adding even more pricing flexibility with Time pricing, and rolling out the Flat rate pricing for Appointments. Plus, we’ve enhanced scheduling with the new Calendar views by staff and facility, giving you a clearer way to manage your team and resources in one streamlined view.

Integration with Xendit payment gateway

We’re thrilled to introduce Xendit as the newest addition to Rezerv’s payment gateway lineup. Joining trusted options like Stripe, 2C2P, and FIUU.

Xendit is designed specifically for businesses operating in Southeast Asia, enabling seamless transactions across key markets such as Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

With Xendit, your fitness business can now accept a wide variety of popular payment methods tailored to the region, including:

• QR code payments: Enable fast, secure transactions using mobile phones. Xendit supports various local QR payment systems such as QRIS (Indonesia), QRPh (Philippines), VietQR (Vietnam), PromptPay (Thailand), and more. 
• E-wallets: Support for local digital wallets such as ShopeePay, Dana, GrabPay, GCash, Momo, LinePay and more to enhance convenience for customers.
• Virtual accounts: Allow clients to make payments via unique virtual account numbers.
• Retail outlets/Over-the-counter payments: Cater to clients who prefer paying in cash at physical locations.
• Buy Now, Pay Later Installments: Flexible payment plans to suit your clients’ financial needs.

This integration reinforces our commitment to providing localized solutions for our customers. By incorporating Xendit into your payment system, your business can cater to the unique needs of Southeast Asian clients, ensuring a smoother, more inclusive transaction experience.

Calendar views by staff and facility

We’ve enhanced the scheduling experience with new calendar views, allowing you to sort schedules by staff or facility. This update gives you greater flexibility, clearer visibility, and better control when managing bookings. Here’s what’s new:

View by staff

You can now organize your calendar to display schedules by staff members, allowing you to quickly see individual workloads, class assignments, and availability. This makes it easier to plan schedules, avoid conflicts, and ensure optimal staff utilization.

View by facility

You can also view the calendar based on your facilities, such as rooms, studios, courts, or other locations. This feature allows you to see which facilities are booked, available, or underutilized at a glance.

Flat rate pricing method for appointment

We’re introducing Flat rate pricing, a new way to manage appointment services with greater flexibility and transparency. Unlike the existing Fixed fee option, where services are priced for a fixed duration, Flat rate pricing allows businesses to charge per time slot, offering customers an hourly-based booking experience tailored to their needs.

Per-slot pricing

With Flat rate pricing, businesses can set a drop-in price per slot, simplifying cost management while ensuring customers understand their total cost upfront. For example, if the price is set at $10 per slot, a customer booking 4 slots will automatically see a total of $40 displayed at checkout.

This dynamic pricing model works seamlessly across different industries—whether it’s a badminton renting court, a salon booking rooms, or businesses offering time-based services like consultations and equipment usage.

Customizable time-slot intervals

Businesses can customize the duration of each time slot to suit their operational needs, choosing from:

• 15-minute intervals for short sessions or quick rentals.
• 30-minute intervals for mid-length appointments suitable for consultations.
• 60-minute intervals for longer bookings, suitable for court rentals or personal training.

From the customer’s perspective, the booking process is seamless. They can view and select available time slots through an intuitive calendar interface, with the total price automatically displayed before checkout.

Resource and slot limits

To avoid overbookings and ensure smooth operations, Flat rate pricing comes with settings to control slot and resource limits. Businesses can:

• Limit slots per day: Businesses can allow unlimited bookings or define a minimum and maximum number of slots customers can book in a single day.
• Limit staff or resources per booking: Similarly, businesses can limit the number of staff or resources customers can book at once.

For example, if the maximum slots per day are capped at 4 and the maximum resources at 3 courts, customers can book up to 4 time slots across a maximum of 3 courts. These limits are automatically applied during booking, streamlining the process and preventing overbooking.

Streamlined availability settings

With Flat rate pricing, businesses can assign either staff or resources—such as facilities, equipment, or rooms—to determine availability for appointments. Unlike the Fixed fee model, which can allow both staff and resources to be assigned simultaneously, Flat rate simplifies resource management by focusing on one at a time.

This makes it particularly effective for resource-based services such as facility rentals, or court bookings, where staff assignment is less critical.
